Gurande Chameshi Inc. (“Gurande,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates gurande.io and Ask a Friend. This policy applies when you visit our websites or communicate with Ask a Friend by SMS, MMS, email, voice, or another supported channel.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the services, we may collect:
- Contact and account identifiers, such as your telephone number or email address.
- Messages, prompts, attachments, documents, and other content you choose to provide.
- Conversation context, memories, reminders, and account preferences you ask the service to maintain.
- Technical, security, delivery, and usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
- Communications you send to our support addresses.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve requested services, respond through the channel you use, maintain conversation context and user-requested reminders, secure and troubleshoot the service, enforce our terms, meet legal obligations, and communicate about your account.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in information, telephone numbers, or consent records with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to deliver communications, host infrastructure, store data, detect abuse, and process requests—including telecommunications, email, cloud hosting, storage, and artificial-intelligence providers. They may process information only as necessary to provide services to us and subject to their applicable contractual obligations.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or when you direct or consent to the disclosure.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses necessary browser storage to remember your privacy preferences and support secure operation. We do not use advertising cookies or permit cross-site behavioural advertising through this site.

Retention and security
Active account information and content are generally retained while your account is active or until you delete them. Login and identity-linking codes expire quickly; operational and security records are retained for limited periods. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups expire.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
Depending on the service and applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information. Ask a Friend’s account controls allow users to manage memories, conversations, attachments, and account deletion. You may disable optional memory features without deleting existing memories.
For SMS, reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance. You may resume messages by texting START. Opting out of SMS does not prevent you from using another supported channel.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
International processing
We and our providers may process information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date.
